Circle of Joy Foundation is a non profit organization created in the mid 2000s by malian model and philanthropist Nana Keita. Our mission is to help improve the lives of people in underprivileged communities by helping them meet every day basic needs, proper education, job opportunities, empowerment and growth of local artisans to unable them to live off of their labor. Although we are always looking to collaborate with volunteers and creative minds, all funds come from within the organization itself, we do not accept any monetary donations at the moment. Thank you for your interest in our foundation and its impact.

If you have able hands, we want your help. Whether it's serving food aid in a kitchen, painting walls of a newly repaired school, or collecting donations, we need you. And so do communities in need.
I have been incredibly fortunate in my life to never have to experience the difficulties I see in the world every day. I can’t imagine what it’s like to live in extreme poverty - and I think it’s a shame that in the 21st century, anyone should.
With that desire in my heart, I preside over Circle Of Joy. We’re all looking to make a difference in our world and I believe that by focusing on communities, we’re going to make the most substantial impact. The world is made up of these important social connections and if you foster them positively, they’ll pay huge dividends - in love, care, and a better world.
We're continually working hard to improve communities throughout Mali. If you're interested to see what we've been doing recently (especially if you want to help), check out our project list.
We have a simple, but robust mission: Our vision is to help broadly improve the lives of children and families living in extreme poverty.
We do that by focusing on community-based efforts including education, awareness, and food aid. We want to make a difference.
